Virtual $80 session (4 classes)

Calling all arteests! Join us in person or virtually as we dive into this year's art theme, "Art in Nature!" We will be studying several of the artists famous for their celebration of nature. Each session, we will experiment with a new medium or mixture of mediums while focusing on the styles of different artists like Monet, Rousseau, Audubon, Goldsworthy, and more!

Our fine art projects during the year will include:

★ Drawing in pencil and Sharpie
★ Sculpting in foam clay
★ Scratchboard

★ Painting in acrylic and watercolor

★ Rendering in oil pastel, watercolor pencils, and colored pencils

If you have any questions at all, please contact me at (925) 391-7431 or kimberly.votaw@gmail.com

In-Studio Students: All supplies are provided. The art studio is located in the San Francisco Bay Area in Concord, California, and anyone is welcome! I have students from Brentwood, Antioch, Lafayette, Martinez, and more!

Virtual Students: Virtual classes via Zoom make it possible to attend from anywhere! I set up two cameras for each lesson, one pointed at me and the other towards whatever my project is so students can see exactly how to execute the techniques and follow along. It is VERY important to use the best ART MATERIALS you can afford to learn proper technique and enjoy the experience. I have created Amazon wishlists of my favorite, most affordable materials. It is very challenging to teach virtual classes with students who have the wrong supplies, so please follow the lists as much as possible. Many of the supplies will be used for multiple sessions.
