Covid: August 2021

Hebrews 12:37  ...Until only unshakable things remain

Covid pandemic has ripped away so much we have learned to love and enjoy. When quarantine kept us from our yearly pilgrimage to Yosemite for the 2nd year in a row, I was determined to immerse in it's majesty ... through art. During a weekend I completed the mountains and many of the trees, then set it aside for busyness, as I too often do. A couple months later, when I came home from a 5-day Covid hospitalization I was buzzing with energy, inspiration, and insomnia from the steroids I was on. I finished this in a night. It was glorious - oh how I loved that Dexamethasone. This graces my mantel for now, a reminder to truly live wherever you are, making the most of limited time in any circumstance.
